The varied and really easy to master cross-country course on Prato Piazza in the Braies Valley treats active winter holidaymakers to idyllic peace and breathtakingly beautiful views of some of the most famous Dolomite peaks: Picco di Vallandro, Croda Rossa, Monte Cristallo and Tofane will be your companions right to the end of winter when you join the other cross-country skiers on Prato Piazza. Apart from Prato Piazza, the Braies Valley awaits you with other cross-country trails that can be reached easily and quickly from Hotel Trenker in Braies. One route goes up to the fabulous Lake Braies, the Pearl of the Dolomite lakes. This moderately difficult trail provides active holidaymakers with a course that is 11 kilometres long and has a height difference of 400 metres. The Braies Vecchia (3.5 km) and Ferrara (2.5 km) circular cross-country routes have a height difference of just 20 metres, which is good news for beginners. The Segheria-Ponticello trail completes the selection of cross-country routes around Hotel Trenker in Braies.
